Ecological Dissertations in the Aquatic Sciences (Eco-DAS) 2012: Eco-DAS X will be held 8-13 October, 2012, at the University of Hawai`i. Invited participants, mentors and representatives of federal funding agencies will meet for six days to present and discuss state of the art research in the ecology of aquatic ecosystems, to strengthen existing collaborations and form new partnerships, and to discuss the most challenging issues in squatic ecology today. The proceedings of the symposium will be published as an open-access, web-based book. for more information, see the Eco-DAS website. Application deadline is 31 March 2012.
